I am not sure yet, so I don't want to pass judgement. I kind of have the feeling that Disney has sold-out. I watched a video by Disney Parks and everything is name brand. Nothing original is coming.

Same question: What do you think about the plans for Downtown Disney? Pros, cons?

I don't really care for the name change. We really like DTD as it is, we often head down here when all the parks are closed for a late meal, snack or just a walk through sometimes. The other plans sound alright, the car parking doesn't really worry us since we never drive.

Favourite Character Meal and Why?

That's a toss-up for us between Crystal Palace and Tusker House, both for breakfast. CP just makes me happy.....the characters, the atmosphere, the service, and the super sweet characters. My youngest absolutely fell in love with Piglet when he was 11 months old so I have great memories there. TH is fabulous! Love the buffet and the characters are so darn cute! Plus our favorite CM in all of WDW is a server there so we always look forward to that. And the juice.....don't underestimate the juice!

Have you eaten at any of the signature restaurants (aside from Le Cellier)? If so, which ones and what did you think?

CA Grill.......very good and a different view of the fireworks. We will go back.
Napa Rose......but that is DLR. A favorite.....going next month for DH's birthday

What is your favorite counter service place at DHS??

I actually like Pizza Planet! I know I'm probably in a minority, but I haven't enjoyed many of the CS that DHS has to offer. The ABC Commissary is dreadful. The Backlot is okay.

If you could build a new Disney park, what would it be?

tough question. i am thinking something completely pixar themed and maybe about new technology for movies. and focused on walt and what he did for the movie and toon industry. have rides of all kinds featuring pixar movie.

Magic Kingdom - there is more to do in this park than the others and it is the most magical


You obviously visit the Disboards, but what is your all-time most favorite website for all things Disney?

Good question! I'd love to know what their "dream" attraction would be, if they could make absolutely anything at all

If you could work for Disney, what would be your absolute dream job?

I would either like to be a tour guide (guided tours, not DVC) or work MVMCP in some kind of way.


If you were to win $1000 to spend at Disney, how would you spend it. (not on room, park tickets or dining)

I'd love to be creating new rides or areas in the park. To be able to bring movies to "life" would be incredible.

If you could create your idea piece of merchandise, what would it be?

I would build on something that already exists. I would do series of Christmas ornaments each year based upon characters. All would be a limited release and I would release about 12 each year. (such as the Ear Hat ornaments in 2012)

Disney is allowing you to refurbish and completely redo any one attraction, but the conceptual groundwork must stay the same (tracks, ride cars, route) - what ride would you change and what would you do to it?

Where would you like to dine that you haven't before? Why?

I have never dined at CRT and although I think it would be a lovely experience, I have never been able to justify the price.
