Interview the person below you (Part II)

I do...

What is your dining strategy? ex: all sit down meals, snacks, CS, eat in room, etc

We always do CP and TH breakfast every trip and generally eat breakfast in the room on other days (with delivery from Garden Grocer). We usually do one table service meal a day...dinner on the days we don't do a TS breakfast. Lunch is usually CS, though we usually go to Sci-Fi for lunch instead of dinner as a break from the heat. And lunch is usually late....very late....on the days we do buffet breakfasts!

Do you have a photo tradition that you try to get every trip? If so, what?

Mostly sit down meals for us because it's just me and my husband so we have the luxury of time. But, we do have our favorite CS places we are sure to hit!

Which is your favorite world pavilion and why?

I don't have a favorite, but I do like visiting Le Cellier. :)

Have you ever been scared on a ride? Did you cry?

Have you ever been scared on a ride? Did you cry?

When I was 6, I went on the largest roller coaster in the Southern Hemisphere at a local theme park. I was with friends and didn't really realise what the right did..... I screamed and screamed and afterwards I cried.

Ever gone a ride you thought you'd hate but ended up loving it?

I wouldn't go so far as to say I thought I'd hate it but I didn't think I'd like the backwards part of EE. I really love that ride now....even if it does make me feel a little "off."

Do you have a photo tradition that you try to get every trip? If so, what?

My sister and I always buy matching Disney jackets during our trips. We get Photopass to take a photo from the back of us, with us looking at the castle :)

Same Q

/
no, not every trip............DH isn't into photo taking very much

Which is your favorite mountain and why?

Out of all the Mountains at WDW, it woukd be EE. Going backwards is the best part of the ride! At MK, Big Thunder. I don't like getting wet in Splash and Space is good but don't really like the dark of the ride

Is there a snack or food that you must have on your first day?

the castle

Do you prefer to take pictures with the characters or take pictures of various locations in the parks?

Which live show is your favorite?

Beauty and the Beast in HS. We also love to listen to Dream Along with Mickey but we rarely watch it. We grab a snack from Sleepy Hollow and listen to it. :lmao:

What is your favourite video ride (like the one before Dinosaur or Mission Space ect)

That's a tough one! The ToT Twilight Zone video is absolutely awesome, and the Soarin' pre-flight video makes me laugh every single time, but I love Gary Sinise so the Mission:Space one is another favorite. If I had to pick just one though, it'd have to be ToT.

Choose your fave....
Kona or 'Ohana?
Liberty Tree Tavern or Plaza?
Biergarten or Hacienda de San Angel?
Yak & Yeti or Tusker House?

Kona or 'Ohana? Óhaha
Liberty Tree Tavern or Plaza? Liberty Tree Tavern
Biergarten or Hacienda de San Angel? Biergarten
Yak & Yeti or Tusker House?............haven't been to either

What do you think of the new Magic Bands?

I'm trying to reserve judgment until the entire program is released, but I'm skeptical. As for the Magic Bands themselves, they're cute but I don't really think I'd like wearing a band the whole time, if for no other reason than the tan line. That sounds petty, but that's the reason I don't wear a watch or a regular bracelet at WDW. Not real keen on my kids wearing them either. I envision at least one "oh my gosh, I've lost my bracelet because I was messing with it" per trip!

If there ends up being a pre-planned Fastpass option as well as the old fashioned pick-it-up-at-the-attraction kind, which will you likely do?

Pick-it-up at the attraction. If that means I miss out on a Fastpass, then so be it. I don't want to have to preplan my rides!

Rockn' Roller Coaster - front or back?

It's not a set in stone ritual, but we usually go to DTD on our arrival day so we can get a taste of Disney but still get into bed early. We'll be changing it up this time to avoid DTD on the Saturday after Thanksgiving. :scared:

Do you have a departure day ritual?

We usually leave early...............this last trip ME picked us up at 4:30 am!! ...so no

What do you think about the plans for Downtown Disney? Pros, cons?
