Interview the person below you (Part II)

I collect the Keys to the world....which sounds odd, but it is a good way to keep track of our visits...and Glasses..which was accidental until I realized we had over 30 glasses that were themed "Disney"...

Which attraction would you like to see get a complete makeover?

It's a tie for me between the Great Movie Ride and Ellen's Energy Adventure - I love both of those attractions so much but I kind of hesitate to recommend Ellen's to people because the videos are so old and laughable now and GMR just needs to update some scenes, change up the gangster thing, and get rid of Alien so my kids don't hide under their seats. There's so much more they could do with both of those attractions now.

Same question......which attraction would you like to see get a complete makeover?

I'd love if they remade Tomorrowland Speedway into Sugar Rush from Wreck it Ralph, even if it was just temporarily (although I do agree that the Great Movie Ride needs a serious update)

If you could create a Limited Time Magic Event with Character Meet and Greets, who would you choose? :) (With many as you like)

I really want a meet and greet with Wall-E! There were rumors that he would be at the Pixar anniversary event a few years ago, and I was beyond excited! They've only had him out once (I think) at Disneyland and I heard it was really difficult to pull off. It's Limited Time Magic, right? Surely they could pull him out for a day.....and Eve too!

It's breakfast time (at least here in the US, Disney_princess83!).....if you could have any WDW breakfast right now, what would you have?

It's 11:30pm here but I still wouldn't turn down Tusker House Breakfast! :lmao: Love the gang in their safari outfits and love the food choices and atmosphere.

Same Q - if you could have any WDW breakfast right now, what would you have? :)

I would like to to work during the MVMCP. Anything that would allow me to interact with guests would be good.

Question: Do you own any Disney video games? This could be a for the XBox, Wii, DS, etc.

We have Epic Mickey and Disney Universe. We'll definitely be in for Disney Infinity when it comes out! :thumbsup2

What's the funniest thing you've heard another guest say at WDW?

This came from my own mother... She sat out with my daughter so my boyfriend and I could ride Everest and when we came out she was telling us all about this nice family she met and how much she loved talking to people from other countries. When I asked her where the family was from she told me... Hawaii. My boyfriend and I laughed at that for hours.

How old were your children on their first trip to the World or Land?

DD was 8 for World, 2 for Land............DS is 3 years older

How old were you for your first trip to World and/or Land............where did you stay?

I was 3 years old when I went to WDW the first time. We stayed off-site, with an uncle in Clearwater then spent a day at Magic Kingdom......sadly with most of it in the rain. I still remember being really ticked off that Dumbo was closed!

What's your favorite aspect of the Holidays at WDW, aside from MVMCP?

It really is my happy place. I get a feeling there that I get no other place on earth. As soon as I arrive, I feel like all the real-world stress is gone and I'm a kid again! There's absolutely nothing like the feeling I get when I walk up to the Walt and Mickey statue at MK or give Donald Duck a hug or take a super-relaxing ride on the PeopleMover. I can't even describe how good I feel (and how many tears I try to hold back!) watching my kids and their reactions to all the magic. And I even get an odd sense of pride at how much cleaner and well-kept Disney parks are than any other entertainment venue we visit.....and the CMs make me super happy too! There's just nothing like it!!

How long until your next trip? How much planning do you have yet to do?

4 months, 3 weeks, 4 days :rotfl: Planning is generally done, we have almost all our ADR's done, resort is booked, plane is booked, deposit on cruise. We have to focus on our Halloween costumes now, and trying to fit in the Grand Floridian High Tea.

Same Q :)

6 months, 1 week, and 1 day! :cool1: Looking forward to hitting my 180 day point in less than two weeks and making our ADRs! I still have to figure out which restaurant we'll do for the Candlelight Processional package and wait to book that. The idea that Le Cellier might not be in the mix for the CP package this year throws a kink in the works. I think I have almost all of our other planning done. Waiting for our points for opening Southwest credit cards to hit so I can book our flights and set up our ME. Oh, and I'm waiting to see if free dining opens for Disney Visa or GP so I can add that. I keep trying to come up with things to work on!

Have you been to DL and if so, would you skip a trip to WDW to go there? (We haven't been and are thinking of doing DS5's 7th birthday there in Oct 2014.)

Yes, I've been to DL several times. I prefer WDW but DL is absolutely worth a visit. There are many differences and there is something special about walking down the "original" Main St. We plan on visiting DL next year too instead of WDW  I know, the horror :lmao: If you haven't been, I would absolutely recommend it.

What Disney movie do you wish had more presence in the park?

They could do a really cute boat ride for Pinocchio like in Disneyland. Its such a classic film and the only recognition it gets is having a restaurant named after it! Also, there's nothing for Sleeping Beauty!!! My all time fave Disney princess and movie!!

I don't want to start a debate but since it was recently a hot topic- did you agree or disagree with the Merida makeover?

I think it should have been left the old way, more out of consistency with the movie than anything else, but I'm not jumping off the cliff about it like a lot of people apparently.

What's your earliest memory of Walt Disney?

I was probably 4-5 and my Mum explained that Walt Disney and Mickey were good friends and Walt wrote down Mickeys stories :)

If you could have any WDW restaurant near where you live, what would you choose and why?
