I know there was a thread with interview questions last year, is it still around? i can't find it.

so i know what i'll be asked in the spring, i did the program last fall advant 09 but i'm going to different roles this time, Character Attendant and Attractions

They ask about your previous experience.
She talked about my application and the roles I selected (I selected nearly all of them). She asked me to narrow it down to my top three and talked about them with me.

Why would I like to be a lifeguard? Is Quick Service Food one of my top three? Did I understand that custodial was seleceted so I might get that and how did I feel about it?
Did I really know what BBB was? (LOL- just kidding, I didn't pick that).

She asked me if I had experience counting out change. When I said, "of course, doesn't everyone who works a cash register", and she said, "actually, no, they don't" which I thought was weird.

She asked me to describe an experience when I helped a customer and then asked if I had been recognized by my employer for anything.

She asked if I had tattoos - no. Did drugs - no. Pretty much everything on the application. My buddy has tattoos on his shoulder and the guy asked how big they were (2"x2") and if they could be seen with a short sleeved shirt on.

We talked about character performer and she looked up the audition location closest to me. She asked at the end if I had any questions. About two weeks later, I got the purple e-mail.

She asked me if I had experience counting out change. When I said, "of course, doesn't everyone who works a cash register", and she said, "actually, no, they don't" which I thought was weird.

I had a double take when I read that, and then I remember that some cash registers automatically spit the change back out at the customer (coins) and the cashier just counts out the bills (Dunkin Donuts, Wendys are examples).

Beckerz- I applied for Character Attendant before and I've been Attractions twice so I hope I can help you a little :)

With Character Attendant:
Some possible questions are situational questions, for example...
-if it was time for the character you're with to go in and the line has been cut off and you have an unhappy guest who had the line cut right before them, what would you do?
They can also ask other questions related to the role.

With Attractions:
It's been a while, but questions that are possible are situational questions like...
-you have a child that is too small to ride the ride (and they get upset, etc), what do you do?

They may also ask what you're favorite attraction is and why, do you have a preference of attraction, etc.

It varies by interview and person, but I hope I was some help.

thanks so much guys,
last time i only got asked for Merchandise, vacation planner, and Full Service
none were really roles i picked, merch was my 3rd choice and i ended up getting that.

ok, so now i gotta start coming up with answers for those questions, just hoping there good ones. PLus i need to find a list of rides for heights so i know which ones kids can go on, I know my favorite kid ride was Mad Hatter's tea Pots!

but i would so love to work the Haunted Mansion, it's my all time favorite and i know where all the hidden mickeys are inside [i got to ride in my first day of work, so much fun]
