If my interviewer did not ask me if I would accept Qsfb or custodial if other positions were full is that a good sign for me that I will be accepted?

I wasn't asked if I would do either for my first interview. I got accepted so it's probably not bad.

What were your top choices and what role were you offered if you don't mind me asking?

I chose Merch Attractions and Costuming and they didn't ask me if I would do QSFB or Custodial. I got accepted for Merch but I also have a good deal of working with people on my resume so that could be why I got merch so easily

It's a good sign that you either picked a large enough spread of roles, roles you were well qualified for, or both. This is totally me speculating, but I think one of the reasons that almost everyone who gets asked "would you be willing to do qsfb/custodial/etc?" and says yes ends up getting it, is because they weren't randomly asked that question. It possibly had to do with them having minimal work experience and recruiters wanting to give them the maximum chance of being hired. But if also definitely depends on the person who's interviewing you.

So yeah, I'd take it as a good sign. :)

Thanks so much for your reply!! I was hoping that I was/am being considered for my top choices (concierge, hospitality, BBb) but I didn't want to get my hopes up too much! My interviewer focused mainly on customer service with me (how I had made a customers day, how I dealt with a difficult guest, what a guest expects of a concierge, working with the reservation system, cash handling experience) so I'm hoping that's where I will be placed!!

I don't know about that. I have a lot of work experience all with customer oriented jobs, but I was asked if I would be willing to do housekeeping. :confused3

Sounds like you had a really good interview! Good luck with the waiting process, I'm crossing my fingers for you. And definitely let us know when you find out!!

Yeah, I'm definitely not an authority, those are all just my theories. Even though personally I'd take not getting asked about qsfb/custodial/hospitality if those weren't roles you chose as a good sign, I definitely wouldn't take it as a BAD sign if you did get asked that! Many many people do. I know I did! It's awesome that you have a lot of customer service experience, I'm sure that will be a big help towards whatever role/s you're shooting for.

I didn't get asked about QSFB and I got accepted for Merchandise! But like others have said... I think it's because I had lots of experience with people/cash handling, etc. :) Don't stress over it!
