I don't doubt that dues pay for the corporate membership. That said, I think the portion each member pays for the corporate membership is much less than than what we would have to pay for individual membership. JMHO. YMMV.

Too bad DVC doesn't go into that kind of detail on its expenses. It would be nice to be able to see a more detailed break down of income and expenses.

Our maint fees may or may not pay any of the II membership but my information suggests that it is mainly or completely paid for by the exchange fees going out and the $95 resort services fee for those exchanging in along with the agreement with II.

I think the online II booking option will be a good addition - being able to see where there is availability for exchanges would be an advantage. I am able to be flexible in where I go, but am limited to set dates as to when I can go.

Being able to do the searches for yourself will be far less frustrating than compiling a huge long list of destinations in order of preference, in the hope that one of them will be available when I can travel. Having just done this, to use a deposited week in II, it would have avoided a long involved phone call to the States from UK!

I'm really looking forward to this. At the moment our situation changes from week to week. I thought we were going to visit family in March, but this weekend we found out that we can't so that has to be put off till October. By the same token we might find out next month that we can go away for a week in April, it would be great if we could go online to see if we can exchange somewhere.
Especially with the 3/4 night options I can see us using our points a bit more for short getaways to Spain etc.

The 3/4 night options interest me too. Interesting times ahead
