We are staying at the Courtyard in Downtown Disney and may want to extend our vacation for a couple of days on the way home and will probably use Priceline to get a room. The Courtyard website lists in room internet but I assume you have to have a laptop to access. Is there a public internet cafe in the WDW area or a place to access the internet to use priceline? Any help will be appreciated.

There is a "business center" at the Hilton. I went there one time because I had to submit grades for my students while on vacation. They officially charge something like $15 for 15 minutes and then some amount (maybe 60 cents) per minute after that.

You can call and ask for specific prices.

I have found that typically "In Room" internet access is the internet "Web TV" style access so, No you don't need a laptop. Some do have dataports on their telephones but that means you would need an account with a dial up provider.
