Looking for opinions/suggestions on internet providers. We currently have Embarq (our phone company) and it is is SLOOWWWW! So slow that I am usually totally ticked and frustrated when I'm on it at home.............and no, I don't know what speed it is- only know its called high-speed and its $25 per month.
We live in a small town called Bullard where the cable TV provider is podunk Northland Cable. The closest cities to us all have Suddenlink for their cable and so have good internet options available. I really don't like Northland cable so we have DirecTV. I wish we had Suddenlink and then I'd just bundle my internet with cable...........but not an option...........
Anybody have any recommendations for high speed that is around $25/month. I really think part of the problem may be that our computer is around 4 years old, but DH thinks the biggest reason our internet is so slow is because of our provider, Embarq. (Dang, I was really looking for a reason to get rid of our Dell and get an Apple Imac
