Internet pop-up question

I'm a member of another message board for a pianoman, William Joseph (Clay Aiken's opening act from his Christmas tour ). Long story short, I had to run my system restore Friday night (I got a virus on my computer), and now every time I visit William's site, I can't get the message boards to load. The message boards are on a link on the home page, so every time you click on Message Board, it's supposed to open a new window.

My thought is that I have some pop-up blocker that is preventing the message boards from opening. I went to Tools - Popup Blocker - Turn Off Popup Blocker, and that doens't work. Any other suggestions I can try to get the boards to open? I'm running Norton's Systemworks, and the website is www.william-joseph.com Help!!

Does the same thing to me. But if I hit control while clicking on Message Boards, it works.

That worked!! Thank you!! Does anyone have any ideas why this happened only *after* my computer restore? I'm having this same problems with PM's. I get the box saying I have a new PM, and when I click on yes, it will not pop up. Help!

There is some popup blocker there of some sort, Debi, as holding the Ctrl key while clicking a link that has a popup associated with it temporarily disables the blocker. Are you using Google Toolbar or similar?

Dan, here's the confusing part: I have a Yahoo toolbar, but it is unchecked. However, I do have a Yahoo search option as part of my Norton's Antivirus toolbar. If I uncheck Norton's, I still have the same problem with popups (I can't get the message boards to load). Any other suggestions?
