My DH runs his own small business and needs to be able to access his email, Internet, and text/call every day. We are on a 4 night to Bahamas at the end of February. Is there any plan he can get? We have AT&T.

AT&T recently added DCL to the list of cruise lines that support their cruise roaming discount packages. Now, for $30 you get 50 minutes of talk time on the ship while at sea, then $1/minute thereafter. Texts are always free to receive (with or without a roaming package), and $0.50 each to send. While docked in the Bahamas, you need a separate roaming package for voice as the ship's cellular is disabled when within a few miles of shore. As for data, my recommendation is to subscribe to the ship's WiFi, which is on all the time. They have a 1GB package for $89, which is cheaper than cellular roaming data at sea or in a foreign port.
