Internet DIsney and your mood music

Another MouseHouse and Parkhopper fan. This is the only way I can get my dd, 11, up and going in the morning. I put the speaker on really loud and face it at her bedroom. But, she does get up with a happy face on!!!

Radio Buena Vista is my fave live365 station, I listen to it all day sometimes. Love it! My favorite song is the song from splash mountain, I sing along lol :)
HELP! I can not find Radio Buena Vista on my live 365. I have gone through the "Disney" list at least twice and can not find it. Any suggestions? :confused3

I personally favor subsonicradio.com. You get a certain amount of points with your registration, and can request tracks from so many different selections at any time you want! I usually have to listen to a "it's fun to be free!" song before I go to bed.

Go to the Advanced Search at the very bottom of the page and type in Radio Buena Vista. If you have another radio 365 page open, you must close that first.

You are my hero! Thanks!

HAHA! I thought I was the only lunatic that listens to these Disney Stations! My wife thinks I am absolutely crazy! I did take it one step further however which probably does qualify me as a lunatic. I hooked up a pc in the basement to a an audio distribution center and installed in wall speakers and volume controls in several rooms of my house. No matter where I am in my house I turn on the volume and have disney piped into the room! The PC is pretty much dedicated to connecting to live365 and spreading cheer throughout the house haha! :cool1: Yes... I know... It's been a long winter :rotfl2:

Are there any other disney music sites out there, like studiocentral.com, that aren't thru Live365? I have a Live365 acct but prefer online stations like that one...

the best stations for dial up are those that broadcast at 32K. We were running at CD quality (like Park Hopper) when we first started, but wanted to be able to target everyone and not those only on high speed connections. So we "downgraded" ( we don't notice much of a difference in quality to tell you the truth and we run at a high speed connection) to 32K.

Currently the stations running and easily accessable by dial up listeners are..

Ours ;) Mouse House Radio

Sorcerer Radio
MouseWorld Radio
Muppet Central Radio
INTERCOT Radio
Visions Fantastic
The Disney Dream Radio
E Ticket Radio
TourGuideMiKE RADiO
Radio Lion King (runs at 24K)
Disney Magic

there are a few others but I didn't include them because they are for VIP members only.

Good luck with finding your favorite. :)

Yep, same thing happens to me every evening when I listen. I just figured it was due to alot of "traffic" on the site. :confused3 Hopefully someone will have a fix.

This is DVC Ian.....my DW was still signed on so I'll just use her account :teeth:

If your player window comes up and hear see a lag (even on stations that broadcast at 32) it's most likely beacuse you are on a slow dialup connection. Is that true? If it's is, try a station that broadcasts below 32 and see of the lag goes away. The lag (or music stoppping) is beacuse your connection takes longer to buffer the stream before it play in the player. For those with faster connections the same buffering occurs, but it's so fast that little or no lag is seen.

Let me know what you find and I'll see if I can help further

Ian
