For the first time, we are going to have 2 cabins instead of 1 for our family of 4 (all now adults!). I know you get a discount if you add "devices" to your Internet package. I think up to 4? Do we need to pay full price in each room and then only get the discount on the 2nd in each room? Or because our reservations are connected and we are paying for everything anyway, can we just get the 4 devices on our room and give the kids two of the logins?

I think we maybe also get the first day free in concierge, which complicates that a bit. But I do remember from last time that we were still able to get a discounted "length of cruise" internet package after our free day was up.

If there is a discount on more devices, just buy all four on one room. Everybody will be able to use their device anywhere on the ship. It's not restricted to the specific cabin on the booking.

You don’t need to buy multiple device logins unless someone needs a constant internet connection. We buy a one device internet package and then share the login. We don’t want to be on the internet all day but it’s enough for everyone to check their email, chat with friends and family, and my husband to continue his Duolingo streak. If someone needs to do business then I think the multiple devices purchase is needed and a different story. If one of your kids is using the internet and you needed it there is a way to boot them off the connection so you can use it when logging in. We just send a message through the DCL and or Apple messenger to say we need it for x amount of time and then it’s available for anyone else.

I think we might be able to get away with this if you can bump people off. The kids ("kids" but 22 years old!) will be out of school and not starting their jobs yet. They will just want to keep their Snapchat streaks once a day. My husband and I may need 2 since we both work online off and on over the trips. But even 2 would be much better than 4. We could just let them log in with ours every now and again as needed.

Hmmm.... very good thought!

It gets cheaper each day of the cruise so you could always start with the two and then add on another if you find you need it further into the sailing. We also never buy it the first day since we have our cellular service most of the day before turning them onto airplane mode. That was a tip one of the cruise staff gave me and it’s a to have a little bit of savings.

I do 1pm on (let’s say) Tuesday to 12:59pm on Wednesday.

Then 1pm Thursday to 12:59 Friday.

So I kind of get 4 days for the price of two. I think it was $28 a day? And yes, I don’t want to be online all day.

Just want to check in once a day. Sometimes I get enough news with just iMessage but it doesn’t always work for me.
