internet coupons

i have a question about internet coupons, for once im kinda confused. so we all get catalina at the foodstore, and it has the foodstore name on it. well i went to target's website and printed out target coupons. a few said manufacturer coupon with the catalina logo, target no where on it. in theory then would this be a regular internet coupon that i can use elsewhere? this one is for m&ms, they are on sale at cvs not target so i would get a good deal if i used it at cvs, i just don't want that embarrassing reject from the cashier when i give it to her.

I don't know the exact answer of the question you are asking but I work at Giant (of Landover not Eagle) and we take competitors coupons. They won't scan but we have a special code to enter then put in the amount to discount. Perhaps you should call to ask if they do the same?

I know that WalMart has been fine tuning their coupon policies, and they state that they do take Catalina coupons that say Manufacturer coupon (not Target). I need to try these at my WalMart with the Target (that don't say Target) ones I just printed.
