Yes, it's free for members staying on points at DVC resorts.

Every room should have an ethernet cable available, but we always bring our own. If you accidentally take it with you when you pack up you will be billed for it. Not that big of a deal, but it is just an extra charge ($10 I think) that you wouldn't need to pay.

Depends on the resort. Some are large enough some aren't. Unfortunately I don't recall which are/aren't.

Many will tell you no because they are not the Member.

In reality, every Guest that we have had use our points, received room keys that were imprinted "DVC Member" and they have never paid for internet access.

we have a small macbook which we are considering taking with us. We may just see what happens with the safe. We are splitting our stay with BLT and BWV, with only 3 nights at BLT which means technically no one should be in our room as the stay doesn't even qualify for trash n tidy. BWV is another matter, and if DH doesn't feel like taking a chance on trash day, I guess he can always take it to the front desk for their safe?
