Internet Connections at SSR & OKW?

Does anyone know the internet connections available at the DVC resorts?? Particularly the SSR and OKW resorts. My daughter will have a meltdown without internet access.

All WDW resorts have a dataport on each room phone. You'll need to have a internet provider with a local access phone number to connect your laptop, but there are plenty available (I use netzero). Cost is only .35 for each call (make sure it's a local phone number) for members and .75 for other guests.

OKW and SSR both have high speed broadband access for $9.95 for a 24 hour period. Bring a network cable or call to have one supplied.

If you don't have a laptop, you'll need to use a computer business center at one of the convention center resorts or the internet cafe at DQ - also for a fee.

I used the internet service at SSR in December. They must provide the cables, you can not use your own. You just have to call housekeeping and they will bring it to you. There were a few bugs, but I just called their service support and worked them out quick and easy. Internet was a must for me during our stay. It was very easy.

We used the service at SSR last year right after they opened. We also encountered a few bugs...but the support folks were GREAT. We went to the front desk for a cable.

If you are going to be spending any time in your room at all (i.e. naptime for the kids)...the $9.95 is well worth it.

I used the Internet access at OKW two weeks ago.....it was fine. I used my own network cable and had no problems at all.
