Internet connection?

I'm taking a summer class online and I was wondering if there was a place that I can go online at Disney? I'm staying at POR and I'm not sure if the rooms have internet access I have no laptop to hook up anyway. Where can I find a computer to go online while I'm there for the week, any of the parks or other resorts? Thanks

There have been other threads (see below) about this subject but I don't think POR was mentioned. I suggest calling POR to find out if an internet connection is available and what the cost is.

You can use the Internet on the computers at any of the business centers (located at the BWI, CSR, CR, GF, YC) for $40 an hour, which can be broken into 15 minute intervals.

I'm kinda technologically-challenged with some terminology... the phones in the rooms have data ports. Is that what you need?

That should work, you'll need the local dialup number for your ISP. It won't be as sexy as broadband, but it will get you connected.

I'm miraculously hoping that they'll get wireless broadband at the Poly within the next two weeks, but somehow I think fairies will fly before then (wait . . . .)

Really her only option is to go to one of the business centers 9or Kinko's if she ahs a car), but that going to be expensive. Maybe she can borrow a laptop? If so, make sure you can dial in to either a local number at WDW or an 800 number for the ISP before you leave, otherwise the laptop is useless, because you'll pay more in long distance cahrges dialing long distance into an ISP than you would using the computers in the business centers at $40 an hour.
