Internet Connection . . .maybe

I do not know if this is an issue across WDW, but I do know that my Internet connection at SS is deplorable, I have spent more time attempting to connect via WDW Resorts Guest (works occasionally) or In-room Disney Guest (never works) than the amount of time I've actually been able to use the Internet in my villa. Often, when I am able to connect, the connection drops at the most inopportune time (making a reservation, for example.) Frankly, since Disney wants us to do all our business with them on the Web, the least they should be able to do is provide a reliable Internet connection. Heck! We're located in a major, metropolitan area not in rural America. Surely, they can arrange for coverage. Fortunately, I am able to use my mobile hotspot on my android phone when I need to guarantee that my service will not be interrupted. But, there should be a permanent solution that Disney can provide to assure that guests can access the Internet.
 
I could have written the except thing for Poly. I have called several times and actually had an IT guy come out this morning but he has to send out someone else. The “in room” is the old router and the “wdw” one was installed a few weeks ago. Supposed to be stronger. I have a stairwell next to my room and the tech this morning mentioned that is a known problem. It is so frustrating especially folks that need to still work during trip. Not sure if you know but you dial 56 from your room to be connected to IT folks. They have been nice but can’t fix it
 
The wifi has always been horrible, even pre-Covid. I use my cellular data. The hotel wifi isn't even good enough for my work Zoom. Really great "deluxe" hotel amenity, right?
