Wow, they no longer charge by the minute? That could be a plus since their speed can be very slow at times.
Yes, it's much better now that they charge by the amount of data rather than by the minute. If you sign up on the first day, you can get a 50MB package for free.

That's fantastic. And that includes using the internet in your room or around the ship on your own device?
When I was on the Wonder Alaska.... I measured it at 24Mbps..... remember to disable updates on your phone. I lost 300mb in a few minutes when I updated my iPad by mistake. Hard lesson learned.Wow, they no longer charge by the minute? That could be a plus since their speed can be very slow at times.
If you end up using your 1000mb or whatever package you buy, can you purchase again?
Small package, just disable background cloud apps on the device you use.I want to use this to do my online checkin for my airline on the day before we debark. We are flying Southwest and have a large group. Don't want to pay for Early Bird for everyone, so figured I would do this. How much do you all think I should get?

just waiting for the "you shouldn't be on the internet while on the ship" and "you should disconnect like me" people to chime in....in 3-2-1
Thanks so much, I will definitely do this!!Actually, if you go to the Connect at Sea desk, they usually have a computer set up with a printer to be able to help people with this. You may not need to buy a package at all. But sign up for the 50 free on the first day and that should be enough to do the check in.
