Internet Cafe Question

We'll be cruising in May, my husband gave me a very nice digital camera for Christmas. Will I be able to download my pictures and email them back to my family? I'm just learning all this with my new camera, I know I can download the pictures to my laptop, but how can it be done if I'm using the computer at the internet cafe?
I'm sorry if this is a really stupid question, I'm still trying to get the hang of all these hightech things.

Unfortunately, you cannot download pictures into the Internet Cafe PCs. They are locked up and don't allow that. I think there's a way you can ask the attendant there to copy pictures onto a PC, but they will not put the software on that downloads them out of the camera.
