Internet at Grand Californian

I know this is somewhere but..Is there a charge at the Grand californian to use the in room internet? If so, how much? Also, if I bring my little netbook do I have to bring a connection cord thing or anything with it? I'm debating if I should bring it or not.

The GCH has wi-fi connection in the rooms and lobby. There is no additional fee, it is built into your "resort fee".

Someone else will have to confirm that. My room had wi-fi available (it was very close to the lobby), so I didn't even look for a cable.

We have stayed at the GCH twice in the last year. Both times we had wireless internet available in our rooms. Both rooms were far away from the lobby so I would assume it is hotel wide.

I called them a month or so ago, and they said that it is their intention to have every room with wifi, but right now (at that time) it wasn't necessarily in ALL rooms...but it was their intention.

Just wanted to update...when we were there at the end of Aug/first of Sept, we had free WiFi in our room, it was great, no problems at all.

Yes, just stayed in a DTD view room on the 4th floor and had WiFi.

As others have said, wired access (and the necessary cable) is available in every room, with wifi in some rooms. However, based on my stays at the GCH over the past two years, wifi at the GCH can sometimes be much slower than wired access. I would recommend using wired access whenever you can.

I forgot to ask when I checked in and just used the provided cable. All worked well, but I only went on once as was too busy
