My husband and I will be staying at POP from 7/11-7/18. Just found out he will need to check email once during that week to keep up with his on-line learning students. :sad2:

I heard that the value resports do not yet have internet access. Is that true? Where in the Kingdom can he check email for a few hours? Cost in not an issue since he can bill his school. Please share all options you can think of. Thanks!

Can he dial-up? Dialup is available from any room phone (assuming he's bringing a laptop).

We don't have a laptop of our own, but we might borrow one. I read on allears.net that the values don't have dial-up at all? Did I misunderstand? Or do they just not have wireless yet?

They don't have high speed. You can dialup from any phone line.

I believe Disney Quest has several computers in their food court area that you can use free of charge.

You have to be careful at Disney Quest. You can't access all sites. I would go to a business center at a WDW convention hotel. You can use their computers. $10 for 15 mins. If you need it for a couple of hours without your own laptop it is going to get expensive.

Coronado Springs may have one too since it is geared towards conventions....
this from the dolphin/swan site: (2 centers)

Doesn't say price - probably by the hour if they are 24 hour accessable.

Can he check his work e-mail via the internet? I know my company I can only access it with my work laptop, it has a dial-up certificate installed for security.

I have a laptop, with dial up service. Can I dial up in the room, if so will there be a phone charge?

It is 75 cents for each local call. Just be sure to have the local numbers for your internet service provider. It's a good idea to confirm with the front desk that you are using a local number.

No per minute charges. You just pay 75 cents every time.

Is there a charge per minute or just .75??
