internet access at resorts

13 days and counting until our first trip to WDW in over 10 years!!!!

I noticed several people posting messages while on their trips. Is there a computer somewhere in the resorts that guests can use? We are staying AKL conc. If not, I guess we can use our laptop modem - we'll get the trial AOL to use for free while we are travelling since we have a cable modem at home.

Other than using the data port on the room phone, no. DisneyQuest has internet "devices" on either the fourth or fifth floor (or maybe both).

Many hotels are now adding high-speed internet connections in their rooms for a fee. Perhaps the off-site hotels in DD have this and DISers are using this. The one Disney resort I'd expect to eventually add high speed internet connections is CS since they have a convention facilities which attracts business travelers.
