internet access at PO-FQ?

I'm hoping someone can tell me what kind of internet access is available at PO-FQ; wireless, high-speed, or just dial-up.

Just dial up. High speed and wireless is available at the convention WDW resorts.

Not sure what internet service provider you have but we use Bellsouth DSL. We just got back from there (POFQ) last night and when we were there we connected via the actual phone line and made a local call out to the Orlando Bellsouth number using the dial up. Total cost only 75 cents. So if you use Bellsouth you have the option instead of paying the $9.95 per day.

Then again we were only on for a short period of time to check the weather radar due to rain on Sunday.

To use dial up you need to have a local number for your ISP. Cost is 75 cents with unlimited time. Just call the front desk to make sure you are calling a local number.

Here I was hoping that with all the renovations they did to the resort they would have wireless access!

This service isn't offered by WDW, it's offered through WDW by a 3rd party provider. The 3PP isn't doing capital improvements (wiring/hubs) anywhere that they do'nt see a decent ROI on it, that's why resorts without a conference center for the most part aren't being equipped.

I think eventually all of WDW will go high speed at least since so many other hotels offer it. I think most hotels high speed is managed by a 3rd party. I don't think it will be anytime soon though.
