I will be going to FW in 7 days and I was wondering if FW has internet access available. Thanks.

Nope, no charge but it sure is hard to get used to dial up after you use high speed at home.

Thanks so much. My dad had dial-up until just recently and I hated looking things up for him while I was there.

Someone told me there is WIFI service in loop 100-500 call front desk and ask 407.824.2900 to see.

I had heard rumors about high speed internet coming to FW so I contacted Disney to ask. Here is there response:

High Speed Internet Access (HSIA) is available at preferred campsites.
Requirements: Requires a Local Area Network (LAN) cable or in-room
connection.
Price: $9.95 for 24-contiguous hours charged to the room account.
Technical Support: Is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week by
calling the Smart City help desk directly at 407-938-HELP.

The part about 'in-room connection' doesn't make any sense. But it sounds like you can pick up a cable modem and they charge you 10 bucks a day. You would probably need a CAT-5 network cable to connect your computer to the cable modem.

Sorry, this has nothing to do w/Internet, but I couldn't help noticing your name and siggie. Auburn University Grad, 1992 and your name is Jen? That's too weird. I, too, am an Auburn Grad, 1992 and my name is also Jen. Freaky. DH is a 93 grad. War Eagle!!! (At least the football team won this weekend) :cool1:
