International Gateway disadvantage?

Tangent: We are staying at Beach Club but need to be at the front entrance to Epcot at 9 am for a tour. How would that work?

International Gateway. Your name will be on a list that the CM has for early morning tours and DR's. I would get there about 8:20-8:30.

I think that when we did it we took a cab, not sure.

International Gateway is by far and away the easiest and quickest way to get into any park in WDW. While you may not be able to get to Test Track as quickly as the first few people through the main entrance, those people probably would have had to be there an hour early just to be part of that first wave.

Yes. There is a ticket booth and a Guest Relations just outside the IG.

This is great. We are spending our first night at all star sports as we arrive at 10pm. I was going to have my luggage transferred to Beach Club and take the bus to Epcot and then go check in at lunch. But I heard it could be until 3pm or later until I can get my bags and we want to use the pool at noon so now I will just Uber it from All Star to beach at 8am and drop my bags off and then to go Epcot thru the Gateway and know the bags will be available.

Wow, we must have been unlucky with the CM holding us the day we went at opening through IG. We essentially got to Soarin just after the wave of front gate visitors.

I was a little peeved being able to see the front gate people, but the CM wouldn't let us go. This was Jan 2015.
