International Driving Permit

Do I need one of these? I thought I didn't but I've just checked the post office website and it suggests it is needed. Help!

Nope - you can drive on a UK license up to 12 months. Just make sure you take both parts

Post Office make a profit from it, thats why they suggest it.

Are you both driving? are both your DL's in English? if they are not then you need an Int Permit. If they are in English then you don't need one.

Its only me driving and I've got both parts of my licence so won't need the permit then Thanks for the replies
