Florida has repealled the law requiring an IDP in spring 2013
The USA are a federal country, each state as their own laws, that's why usa.gov advises to check with the renter as it epends onthe state you drive through
How is it driving in FL compared to the UK?
I'm not even used to driving in UK cities as we live in the country so US roads, and especially those on Disney property, look very overwhelming to me....?
I find driving in Florida very easy. Disney especially so. One thing that most UK people take a while to get used to is that you can turn right through a red light (unless there is a sign explicitly saying you can't). Treat it as a Give Way.

this is what puts me off driving in FL. I've been many times but always relied on FIL to take hubby and me off property. anybody know if there is a rental company that will allow my husband to drive? he needs a left footed accelerator due to being an amputee? (sorry it's off topic)
