International Drive

My household liked Perkins. I remember the one on International Drive and Sand Hill Road. They are apparently pretty well known for their muffins. My husband loved the blueberry muffins.

I forgot Perkins-Dh liked there omelettes+i loved there pancakes. They also had a large refrigeration cabinet as you walked in+the choice of fresh cream cakes, muffins+pastries was out of this world.I highly recommend the extra large chocolate eclair to go.

Vana, the I-Ride trolley is great although can be a bit hit or miss with it's time keeping. We always used it,it goes the whole length of I-Drive,you can also buy multi day passes for it-as we do-great value :thumbsup2 .x.

Oooh thats very useful thank you, where do you buy the multi pass ? A ticket agent or from your hotel ?

Perkins sounds ideal :thumbsup2

I don't know about all hotels selling them(although ours does that were staying in next year). But the little gift shops along I-Drive sell them,Walgreens also sell them.
You can't buy them on the trolley's though.Do you have children-as under 12 are free with each paying adult.x.

Thanks Snowy, no we don't have children but I have a husband so I guess that should count :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

We loved Friendleys for breakfast.....coffee as many cups as you want and you can buy toast, muffins, sausage, bacon as extras so you can make up your own breakfast. The kids straws change clour in their drinks which amused us and you can take them with you.

We have yet to try Friendly's,hope to next year.Have you eaten lunch or dinner there?.What is it like?.I have looked on there website+it does look rather nice-but want to hear a 'real' comment.Thanks.x.

Have a look here for info about the I-trolley: http://www.iridetrolley.com/

Not so much for breakfasts but we love Wild Jacks. It's just up from Sandlake Road heading towards Wet n Wild if you want to find it on a map. The steaks are fantastic.

We also really liked Bahama Breeze followed by a round of mini golf at the Pirates Cove.

For breakfasts we tend to go to the Sizzlers/Perkins/Ponderosa types or just grab some fruit and then chow down at lunch time. My DF doesn't eat breakfast but is starving by 1100 when we are in the parks (typical) so we tend to graze on the days when we are at the parks and then eat dinner.

There are loads and loads of places to eat on I-Drive - have fun!
