International Drive - best places to eat

If one in your family is remotely into bikes, cars, trucks, then check out Race Rock. Its like a motor racing museum inside and the food is fantastic. Huge portions for really good prices. The bean soup was incredible as was the blown up onion (the size of a dinner plate!) We always go back,

Try www.iridetrolley.com

It shows the whole of the I-Ride and the stops nearest to each restaurant. I love looking at that site, it brings back loads of happy memories :) Enjoy!

Another vote for Tony Roma's - yummy! :goodvibes We'll definately be returning in October!

Ming Court is lovely also - my DH talked about his meal there for months after we got home! Every time we were going to order take-out he'd ask "Do Ming Court do home deliveries?" Not likely that they'd ship it to Scotland! :rotfl2:

thanks for the link to the i ride trolley. i am having a look at it now and getting extremely excited !!

Olive Garden was fantastic, excellent service, cheap, tasty good italian food.
Race Rock also great, huge portions.
However DO NOT eat at CATTLEMANS STEAKHOUSE ,the food was ok but was very expensive $23-$30 dollars for a steak but no sides are included. The staff were the rudest people i have come across in a restaurant, they were incompetent. They added a $50 dollar tip which I removed from the bill because of their service.

I recommend the following for good food in their respective price categories:

Friendlies
IHOP (Breakfast only)
Johnny Rocket's (Lunch only)
Bennigans
Olive Garden
B-Line Diner
Red Lobster
Butcher Shop
Charley's SteakHouse (IMHO the best steak in Florida)

We stayed at the Peabody last year and they have three great restaurants. I'll definately go to at least one of them when I go back. Regardless of where I stay!

I'll be giving Boston Lobster Feast a miss. My Dbf and I had terrible food poisoning after eating there.

We also love

Wild Jacks
Chicacgo Uno
Sweet Tomatoes
Olive garden
and also for a cheap but filling meal try Golden Corrall. A buffet all you can eat(Great Value) !!

To be honest where ever you go you will be hard pushed not to have a good meal.
