Says it all in the title I guess !!
Best places to eat, on International Drive. Not really into Ponderosa type buffet stuff. Any advice appreciated

We love Bahama Breeze and Sweet Tomatoes :sunny:
The Olive Garden is supposed to be nice too.

Definately the Olive Garden. Food is delicious and you get complimentary soup or salad (both very filling) and lots of warm breadsticks with every entree. :)

My favouiries are Sweet Tomatoes and Bahama Breeze - yummy food in both!

There is SO much choice in the I-Drive area these days (and that's before you consider the nearby Fountains Plaza/Plaza Venezia area of Sand Lake Road!!). Our 'top 10' would be:

Salt Island Chophouse and Fish Market
Cafe Tu Tu Tango
Bahama Breeze
B-Line Diner (in The Peabody hotel)
Texas de Brasil
Dixie Crossroads (at Festival Bay)
Olive Garden
Everglades (in the Omni Rosen Center hotel)
Wild Jack's Steakhouse
Orlando George & Dragon (for great fish and chips!)

And then we also like Dan Marino's Tavern at The Pointe, Murray Bros Caddyshack at Festival Bay, Outback Steakhouse (near Orlando Premium Outlets), Bennigan's, Tony Roma's, Vito's Chophouse, Butcher Shop (at The Mercado) and Race Rock, not forgetting............!! :teeth:

Highly recommend Bennigans. I went for the first time in Oct and the thought of those chicken strips is making me hungry even now!!

My very favorite as a good adult place is Texas De Brazil http://www.texasdebrazil.com/index2.php

There is a TGI Fridays, the one up towards Seaworld, not the one near the Aussie Steakhouse.

Charleys Steak House, again expensive but good.

other chains that are good are Red Lobester, Bahama Breeze and Olive Garden.

Hi,
We like Tony Romas ate there on our last trip and there were 4 Sheriff's Deputies eating at the next table so I guess if the locals use it it must be ok..

Mick.

If you want something other than the ubiquitous fries then Ming Court is very good. A lot of chinese people eat there so that must say something too. We always make it one of our places to eat when we are in Orlando.

Another vote for Tony Roma's. Wild Jacks is nice for steak and ribs (and slightly cheaper than Tony Roma's). For cheap and cheerful (think US Little Chef), there's Denny's, The Village Inn, Friendlys (try their Fribble shakes). We also really like Uno Chicago Pizzeria (do all sorts, not just pizza).
