Internal Bus@SSR

The only internal bus travels between the Treehouse Villas and The Springs. Aside from that there has never been an internal bus. The buses that travel to the parks and DTD all make several stops within SSR though.

Is there still an internal bus@SSR?

Here's how it works:

  • Buses to DTD stop first at the Springs, where the front office, restaurants, store, spa, and recreation facilities are located. They then stop at the other 4 stops in the resort: Grandstand, Carousel, Paddock, and Congress Park, in that order, before leaving the resort for DTD.
  • Buses to all 4 theme parks stop at the "other stops" in the same order, then stop at Springs last.
So if you're traveling internally from a villa to the Springs, you board any bus except DTD. If you're traveling from the Springs to a villa, you take the DTD bus.

If you're traveling between villas, and the destination is after the starting point in the order I listed, you can board any bus. If the destination is before the starting point, you would have to take a theme park bus to Springs and then wait for a DTD bus; it's easier just to walk part or all of the way.

Of course, the buses to the parks, when you add them all together, run more frequently than the buses to DTD alone. And always tell the driver where you are getting off when travelling internally; otherwise the bus may stop making stops and head straight to it's destination when the driver considers it to be full.

BTW, similar arrangements are in effect at all the multi-stop resorts, with the DTD bus usually being the odd one.
