Intermediate Car Hire Trunk/Boot Space?

Can anyone please give me some advice?

There are two of us going and we have hired an intermediate care via Alamo. Should we be able to get two 32inch cases in the boot/trunk easily? I know we'll have space on the back seat but we are travelling around and don't want to leave bags on display while we are being tourists.
