While doing a search to find out about the drug bust that happened on the Magic awhile back I came across this website....

http://www.cruisejunkie.com/

If you click on the EVENTS AT SEA topic it lists all the things that happened to cruise ships all over the world during 2002, 2003....it is amazing what can and does happen on a cruise ship!!

If this has been posted before I apologize, but I have been on the boards for years and don't ever remember seeing this website.

Did not see anything to do with the MAGIC or WONDER. Suppose that is a good thing! :)

Back in '02 there was a passenger caught with cocaine...

I originally read it here on these boards..

Here is the thread....

http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?s=&threadid=264787&highlight=+drug++bust

But, I am almost positive I remember either a Magic or Wonder crew member being involved in drugs at some point....can anyone else remember?

hopelea....actually there was mention of the small fire onboard the Magic in the smokestack.

Perhaps this is when Whitney and Bobby cruised for Christmas a couple years ago? LOL

sorry...very bad joke in poor taste. :teeth:

Wow.....interesting site. Definitely won't let my two youngest see this. They're already a little nervous about sailing due to all the recent hurricanes and I noticed there was mention of a ship gone adrift/afloat (Holland America) due to tropical storm Karl. Broken bones and everything !!! That would freak my kids out. As it is, at least twice a week for the past month I've had to reassure my youngest that nothing will happen to us on the cruise.
There were several events reported that caught my eye, but the impaled whale on Royal Carribbean was a sad one :(
Thanks for the site---interesting and unnerving at the same time.

I also found the impaled whale disturbing....but I guess when you have huge ships in the ocean it is only a matter of time before they cross paths with sea creatures.

My sister called me yesterday after she saw a Discovery Channel documentary on a cruise ship that burned back in the 70's...I assured her that ships are built differently now and that disaster would likely not be repeated....I know anything can happen but I doubt that anything less than an explosion could do the damage that was done to that other ship. And of course right after that was a documentary on the Titanic....I told her not to watch TV anymore!!!

Wow...what an amazing list of related cruise ship links also! ::yes::

The Magic did catch on fire once, but I've never heard of the Majestic.

The Majestic and the Oceanic were the original Disney cruise ships sailing as Premier Cruise Lines in the late '80's, and early 90's.
