Interesting scenario with AA

Yes you will have the seats you paid for. You paid for a window and aisle. You will have a window and aisle.

And that is just sad that you and your friend will plan to abuse the passenger between you. It's not their fault! What do you want them to do? Get off the plane and not use the ticket they paid for to make you happy?

Seriously???? Abuse???? So, my friend and I paid an addtl $45 to have the row to ourselves...that middle seat is taken out of commission, so to speak. So, we board the plane to find that AA has changed the seating configuration, and we now have a fully functional 3 row seat, with someone sitting in between us. This is a 6+ hr flight....my friend and I had made the assumption we would be able to chat and enjoy ourselves on the flight, sitting next to each other, with plenty of room. But no....AA goes and changes the seating, so now there is a stranger in between us. I doubt that my friend and I are going to ignore each other for 6+ hrs. I imagine that we are going to want to chat...so that middle seated person is most likely going to be 'abused' by our talking over them! Sorry. Not my fault. Talk to AA about it.
We booked our seats, based on the seating configuration that was shown at the time of booking. Let me ask something...if you booked an extra legroom seat on JB, the window seat...but when you boarded, you found that you weren't in an extra legroom seat, but still had a window seat, would that be okay??
