Although it would make me feel all self-righteous, and tingly up my leg, to comb through dozens of old con-thread pages from days gone by and find something I could scold someone about, I think I'll pass just the same. Just not my idea of a fun Saturday afternoon.

Could we just sum up whatever it is you are referencing by saying that there was some disgareement between lefties and cons (shocking, I know) while I was gone, and you saw something you could assume higher ground on?

I had to rip off a mini-rant there. I hardly knew how else to respond to such an inane link in the OP.

Yep, I had a wonderful trip. It was unique in that it was fun, and also a true worthwhile continuing education opportunity. Rare indeed -at least in my experience.

I don't think most of us liberals believe this study (completely, at least) anymore than I would like to think the Cons believe the study about liberals that was posted on their board.

The whole point was to counter that rather absurd study with one of our own. Although, you have to admit, ours is a better source. And I'm not going to lie: I've known a few guys (in the army) who fit that description to a tee.

Forty-six people who were retained for the study were then asked to fill out a questionnaire asking them, among other things, about their political beliefs.
