I will miss Paula and her quirky comments.

I did hear a rumor that Paula may be offered a job judging dancers on the show- So you think you can dance. They are starting a fall edition and Paula may be on that show. She hasn't denied the rumors but will be meeting with producers soon. She said dancing & choregraphy is her fortay.

That makes more sense to me for her. I never understood how she was qualified to judge singers in the first place, she had at best a pleasant voice when she sang and her videos really showcased her dancing.

The Today Show this morning ran a story that said Paula was told she was out 2 weeks prior to the Season Finale and the current "spin" about her turning down $30mil and it being her decision is only PR to allow her to save face I found it hugely UNBelIEVALBE that's she'd turn down $30 mil anyway, so it makes more sense now. Her erractic behaviours in the last season was pinpointed as a reason the producers made the decision.
Frankly, she makes no difference to me one way or the other. The contestants and Randy/Simon are what make it watchable to me. Today floated Cindy Lauper as a viable replacement with a series of guest judges sitting in on auditions along with the 3 judges. Hopefully Paula has invested wisely and will stop having her "Brittney" moments and grow up!

The last offer to Paula from AI was a 30% increase from her 2 million salary, which is still less than all her coworkers, other than Kara, of course.

I haven't seen any reliable information showing Randy's salary is "much less" than what Paula was offered, and I think it is pretty-well understood (though still not confirmed one way or another) that Kara is getting a lot less than Paula was offered.

I love how TV By the Numbers put in perspective Paula's recent claim that, "It wasn't about the money."

It was just about the principle…of money. Or in her case, not getting enough of it
