the group that this system favors is where you are .. anyone without onsite reservations and don't know they must get fps two moths in advance are shut out of some attractions .. I never heard of a more fair system than first come first serve suck that upwho is at a disadvantage? people who show up same day spur of the moment? technically i think they shouldn't get privileges over those who are resort guests, or people who planned there trip at least a month out. and what "group" am i in pray tell?
So if we don't tour your way we have blinders on? This argument from the anti-FP crowd that rides that never had waits now do is absolutely rubbish. I have pics of me drenched in sweat waiting on 30+ minute queues for HM, PPF, and Pirates from multiple trips from the early 2000s. The "Good Ol' Days" weren't as good as many here try to imply. Lines always existed and anyone claiming they did not are in fact, wearing blinders.

*more fair* is nothing but code for *it helps me*

so it favors those without onsite reservations? .. lol ok
it offers a better chance for people doesn't guarantee technically they need to book 30 days out not 60. 60 is for the resort guest i believe.
thats where planning comes in learning before you go getting informed. its not the people who knew faults that the ones who didn't know didn't know.
so you're saying it was fair for the people who had no way to get the old system because they were sold out before they could arrive? due to medical reasons?
there are medical conditions that prevent people from getting to a them park before 10 .. "lol ok" and read my previus post again you missed
*i* have a sleep disorder so don't assume im the ignorant idiot you think .. moving on cuz im bored with you anyway enjoy your disney
While I agree that the germs part of her article was ridiculous, I agree with most of the rest of it. This topic is beating a dead horse, but its amazing to me the amount of people on here who either have blinders on or have never experienced the old fastpass system. People claim you can still be spontaneous, but the rides that used to be 15-20 minute waits at most (Pirates, HM, Small World) are now an hour wait. So ok great, you ride 3 headliners with FP+, and then what? We went last February at what was supposed to be a slower time, and the lines for Pirates and HM were insane.
*trying to stay positive for our trip in just a few days*
im sorry the new one is a huge disadvantage to a lot of other people I can tell which group your in

No system is going to benefit every guest. I admit that there were aspects of the old system I preferred, but to be honest, I hated having to have FP runner, and hated that if I got to the parks later in the day, I was out if luck for headliner attractions. Let's be fair. It works for some, and not for others. Depends how u=you used to tour.
Are you sure your band didn't work? According to a pp the bands work 100% of the time!I burst out laughing when she was talking about how fickle the magic bands are and she said, "may the odds ever be in your favor."
That is how I felt. My band NEVER worked at the gates. they always had me try and try, then flag over a supervisor with a clip board, then ask me a series of questions before allowing me entrance, while my family waited.
