Interesting glitch tonight

This happened back in April and we got all tier 1 rides for the whole 10-day trip Four hours later it was back to normal... FYI, anyone going over Thanksgiving week, they just released a bunch of BOG dinners the 25-30th with great times about 15-minutes ago. They did the same thing late the other night for the same time period with 1900. These aren't cancelations, its something internally they're releasing. Thanks for the tip by the way!

Thank you! I got a BOG!! We have been for lunch but even at 180 days, I haven't been able to snag a dinner there. My DD8 is super excited!!

It didn't work for me at 8:30am CST. I tried to change my Turtle Talk to Test Track and it wouldn't let me. BUT I have the option of changing Soarin' to Test Track.

I too saw this on Facebook at about 8:30 this morning. I was able to get Soarin, Test Track and Illuminations on the same night! I think I just made it in there before they fixed it.

Don't give up! I was able to get 8 FP for A&E on 12/18 but I had to do it one at a time, and then keep rearranging times until they overlapped. It took a lot of time and effort, and it took a couple days to do it, but it eventually worked out! Good luck!!

Looks like the glitch is fixed. I was unable to swap out any of my Tier 2s for a Tier 1 attraction on any of our EPCOT or HS days.
Congrats to those who were able to take advantage of the glitch!

My daughter was able to rescue our Toy Stoy Mania fast passes by doing this. She had accidentally lost the TSMM fp's for next week and couldn't get them back. So she tried it one at a time and got everyone within five minutes of each other.

Can you share how you did this? I only need three, but if I try to change/modify an existing FP it looks for all three ... is there a way to just modify one at a time? Thanks!

Lol I assume your teasing - they are only going for 3 park days, so of course there weren't even any A&E FP+s 60 days out at midnight. I have been stalking the site for her hoping something would show up and as of last night right up until now NONE of the MK M&G options are showing up for me - no Mickey, no Cinderella & Rapunzel - also neither parade nor Wishes. I even checked days in October to see if it was just our days and I'm not seeing anything listed. Either this is another glitch or they are doing something else with these - I shutter to think;(!

Our trip is Dec. 15-20 and there were no A&E FP+ for our three MK days. There were definitely other M&G options available, but none for A&E. I'll be stalking the cancellation thread and checking MDE over and over and over again for the next 60 days.

I stalked MDEx for my August trip with DGrD and was finally able to get some better times and M&Gs in the 60 days before we went. Huge PITA IMHO but at least I could make it work for us in the end. Good luck!

I just tried to change one of mine and now have BOTH Soarin and Test Track!

I was able to change one too so we now have both Test Track and Soarin!!!!

Just changed my turtle talk to TT....already have Soarin'. Love it when the system glitches and is in your favor. Although my plan was to move up FP 2 and then 3 once I had used 1 and then 2. Have ADRs for Akershus at 11 and figured we could use them all by then. Now I'm not sure what time to pick for TT. I think once we are in WS, we'll stay there for awhile.

Just changed to Soarin' one day, TT another day, and R&RC another. Happy day!

I just went back in to our first Epcot day and changed SE to TT (already have Soarin' for that day). I hope these changes stick!

I love the Dis. This allowed me to make everyone in my party happy. Able to change HS and EP FP's so that I have TT and 'soarin, as well as RnR and TSMM.

My vaca starts 12/12 and I was able to modify individual FP+ for all days to additional tier 1s in both Epcot and DHS too. I'm nervous it will get messed up-wondering how often this glitch happens or some sort of test.

I echo my thanks for this thread too. Planning never seems to be done!

Our trip is the week of 11/9. In Epcot, we had FP+ for Soarin, MM and Nemo. This morning I was able to change Nemo to TT at the same time.

At DHS we had FP+ for Toy Story Spin, ToT and Star Tours. This morning I was able to change ST to RNR at the same time.

Thanks for the tip! I was able to change Turtle Talk to Test Track for Saturday and Star Tours to RNR for Monday.

OMG I would be SO happy if this is a new change! We just changed our THANKSGIVING WEEK reservations! I have TSM, RNR and TOT all booked for the 5 of us on one day and managed to get both Soarin' AND Test Track booked for our EPCOT day for 9 of us. Kids will be ecstatic as they LOVE TT and it sucked that we had to chose Soarin' or TT when we know we want to do both!

OMGGGG thanksss!!! I got TT and Soarin for our 2 epcot days!!! We are so happy!!!!

I got soarin and TT too. One of the days I even got LWTL with the other two. Yay!!!

I really spend way too much time here on the DIS. I was able to switch SE to Soarin. Now I have TT, Soarin and Mission Space.

Yippee, I just changed a bunch of our FPs. We know have TT and Soarin FPs for our EPCOT days.

I need to print out our FP schedule and see if I can tweak it some more...

Has anyone had any problems using their two tier 1 FPs?

Definitely something is weird, but I'll take advantage!

We had Soarin, SE and Character Spot for 3 people on our Epcot day. I was able to change our SE to Test Track at the same time. I copied the FP selections to the two others in our party to make sure they could get both while it was possible (they hadn't made any FP yet). It copied Soarin and Test Track, but it gave them LWTL during the 3rd slot. When I tried to change them to Character Spot to match us, it said no other FP were available.....

Thank you so much for posting this! I was able to change my fastpasses and get Test Track and Soarin'! We are only doing one Epcot day so I am really excited!!

Was able to change my previously booked FPs and now have Soarin' and TT on the same day as well as RnR and TSM on our DHS day.

Thank you thank you! We weren't going to make any fp+ for epcot because of the tiering and just plan on hitting 2 rope drops. But now......I was able to get soarin and test track for one morning and we don't have to get up at the crack of dawn to do it. Thanks disboards!

I don't know if there is an easier way to do it, but this is what worked for me...

Step 1) Get any FPP available for 8 people (or however many you have)

Step 2) Hit change experience and then pick out a different FPP for any other experience and only make the change for one person, repeat for however many people are in your party. Now you will end up with 8 (or however many you need) individual experiences.

Step 3) Now hit change experience for the individual FPP and you will now see what is available for one person. Repeat until you get everyone what you want.

Step 4) If you need to, keep rearranging times until they all overlap.

I saw it on FB too at about the same time. I was able to change my Figment (like I really needed that one anyway lol) to Test Track. That means that DD and I get to ride together instead of having to do single rider line (we don't have a morning at Epcot this trip, only an afternoon).

I changed my SIL's Turtle Talk to Test Track, and her Star Tours to RnRC. This is her family's first visit and those two seemingly small changes are going to make those two days SO much more enjoyable for her family. They won't need to rush in at rope drop now but can arrive a few minutes later and hang back behind the crowd instead of being in the thick of it.

Right before I read about the glitch I was able to pick up an A&E FP for myself that is at almost the same time as my DD's, so now I can go in with her instead of sending her by herself. (That was right before the meet and greets disappeared from the site.)

No actually I was completely serious! A&E is a must do for us on this trip. Our last trip they were still in Epcot with the 4 hour+ wait. So we are really hoping for FP's for our daughters 6th birthday on the 21st. Our 60 day window opens tonight so the fact that no m&g options are showing really disappoints me!

So we are really hoping for FP's for our daughters 6th birthday on the 21st. Our 60 day window opens tonight so the fact that no m&g options are showing really disappoints me!

It was really easy to get FP for them over the summer. But for fall and winter, thus far, very hard. So no, chances are not high you'll get them without trying for the latest possible time in your trip and trying for 1 at a time, with overlapping times, provided everyone is over 7. If your DD is 6, you'll have to get 2, at a minimum. Just keep trying

When you log on tonight, as the PP said, start on the last day of your trip. We were able to get A&E on day 7, but nothing before that.

I won't be going to WDW until next October, if at all. But this is interesting to me. Do people feel that this was definitely a glitch or possibly a glimpse into the future? I also wondered if they might possibly be considering doing away with tiers during less crowded times, but keeping them for more highly crowded times.
