Interesting conversation following survey when leaving yesterday

DH and I were asked to do a survey on our way out of the park yesterday, one where you sit down and chat in the little room (leaving Universal). We had a few moments to spare so we did it.
The interesting part came as we left. Someone followed us out and asked for some more input on an idea he wanted to present at an executive meeting. He was dressed in what I'd call management attire, not a park uniform but not sure of his position.
He wanted to know what would we think of having a dedicated AP entrance line
He'd heard us mention in the survey that we hold APs to both Disney and Universal and I'm sure Universal is aware that Disney just implemented AP entrance lines. He'd also heard us mention that we found the lines at the entrance poor that morning (only thing we rated low). Longest lines we had of the day were at park entrance. And like Disney, most of this stems from folks unsure of what finger prints they used, folks who needed to sign tickets, etc. Things that wouldn't happen for most with an AP.
So maybe it is something they are going to seriously consider

Would be all for that, if they did it in a smart way...more AP only lines at peak busy times.

That's a good idea although I don't usually have long delays entering either park. Still...it would be nice.

I really loved the AP lines at Disney and would love to see this done at Universal as well.

Definitely! Nothing worse than picking a sort line to get in quick, then realizing all the people in front of you have no idea how to scan their fingers or didn't think to have their ticket out & ready. Most days, it was still rather quick, with some great TMs guiding them along; but some mornings were brutal!

I was able to use the Disney AP entrance when were there during Christmas...It was the first days of implementation and there were a few "kinks" that we experienced, but overall a great idea. The USO lines were crazy during the break...DUH...and that could help a lot during those crowd day levels of 8-9-10-INSANE!..

Seriously, would any AP passholder say no?
LOL... I can't imagine one that would
I think what he was after more than anything was some arguments he could use to prove his case that it was needed.

I don't have APs to either as I live to far to make it often enough but think it is a great idea for those that hold them. Hate how much the lines get held up by people unsure of what they're doing, and as mentioned 95% of the issues woudl not be expereinced in an AP line.
