Interest in a Rolodex Calendar swap??

I feel myslef getting drawn in but I still find it scary and Can't get my head round it - probably because we don't have rolodex here! And for me business cards are too tiny to do anything with - they are the cards with nmes on you give peoeple at meetings, right? Happy to be corrected!

I can get you a rolodex, that's easy.
Yes business cards have your contact info on them for meetings and such. But I think the 4x4 will be better and super easy to cut.

DH told me that if I didn't swap (after I completed the tag/everyday life pages) and didn't buy a ton scrap supplies from Feb on that he would push for his vacation time... So, you sent me the few items i purchased
in the mail so I didn't really spend the money... He thinks you wubba me, your the BFF ever, and you want me to go on vacation!!! Now once we go on vacation or I can do little side swaps to help out my BFF I'm all good.. I think DH wanted to challenge me to use my stash first..but thought giving me the incentive for vacation might do the trick a little better than just the challenge.. Door #1 Scrap...money on supplies...new stash... Door #2 scrap.. no money on supplies utilize STASH..vacation... uh, I go with door #2!

I would be going with door #2 also. I do want you to go on Vacation, just not without me!!!

ETA but if we go with the 3 x 4 or 4 x 4 cards you can't use it! LOL

that's ok! i kinda like the bigger size anyway. it would be a lot easier to scrap on than the normal size.

that just makes the tab holes. So you would cut your 12x12 paper into 6 4x4 squares and, using a regular size rolodex card, line up the holes on the 4x4 sheet to fit the card holder. Mark and punch.

When I go out today I will get a punch and take some pics and do a quick tutorial.

If I remember correctly they weren't very expensive. I got mine at Staples too. Along with the wrong sized cards at the time. I didn't know they came in different sizes. Staples was redoing that aisle and everything was thrown in a shopping cart. I just picked the first cards I saw and was super happy to see the punch on top.

If the rolodex is the right size, you can fit in the flat rate envelope. You'll need to tape up the sides to keep it from exploding. If it is under 4 pounds, it'll be under $11 dollars. I sent 7 pounds and it was $11 dollars. I still have $9.00 left from Mazda, so I will be sending it to you with the tag swap items. Use it towards the shipping or buying embellishments for her. She really likes the cat's eye inks.

the cards are 2 1/4" x 4" will this one work?

If so Mazda, I should send you 2 of them. One for the ABC rolodex swap and one for the Calendar rolodex...('cause you're going to want to do both right? )
