hi all,i`m still slightly twitchy about our trip and i have 7 mths to go but out of interest which of the on site hotels have interconnecting rooms available and has any one heard of someone booking 2 interconnecting rooms and not got them? tcook say they can`t guarantee them but i`m assuming this is to cover their back but after all the other problems from tcsig i wouldn`t be surprised to find us with 1 room on 1 floor and 1 on another!
we`ve had more problems with tcsig which ended with me sending them a very snotty email with some results but why is it that you have to get shirty to get anything done?!and also as a note for any one thinking of booking with tcsig -they now do not give you passes for all days of your trip we booked for a 4n5 d stay and you get park passes for 4 days -you get a sealife pass for the last day which i thought was a bit of a rip off as this is for everyhotel not just off site ,even in the dlh
anyway abck to the original question anyone had any experience of interconnecting rooms?

New york does as we were in one of them in December.

I think that the DLH will do there best to keep families together. You could contact the hotel nearer to the time and make a request direct with them.

We were given 2 without asking at the NPB. In fact I was impressed as some thought had obviously gone into the room allocation, we had a room with bunkbeds, which I didn't even know was an option at the NPB, which pleased my 2 DS's no end, they hadn't been looking forward to sharing a bed and my sister was allocated the room next door with 2 double beds, just right for her, her DH and DD.

I hope you're worrying unnecessarily, regardless of what TC might or might not do, at the end of the day Disney are allocating the rooms and I'd credit them with a bit of common sense.

I'm almost certain that our room at the Cheyenne had an interconnecting door but I don't think the one at the Santa Fe did.

When I phoned the NPB before our visit I was told they get the guest/room allocation about a week before. To set your mind at rest you could always ring the hotel then although it still means you have to suffer the next 7 months.

I find it amazing that you aren't given park passes for the entire duration as a Disney Hotel guest, especially as when I checked last TCsig came out as one of the most expensive tour operators.
I know that Disney are offering stays without a pass for the first/last day after Nov'06 I think, but I also noted that there is a price difference on the 2 packages and let's face it Passes for Seaworld @ £8.00 per adult don't really compare with a day's Disney pass.

We've had connecting rooms at the Cheyenne, DLH and SL. Got them all by asking at check-in, although at a quiet time of year. :)

It seems to be the way with many companies today :sad2: Thanks for the heads up about TC Sig - they don't sound impressive. Especially only getting 4 park days for 4 nights - I thought that 5 days for 4 nights was a given. :confused3 Sorry to hear you've had a bad time with them. :grouphug:

thanks guys ! i knew you`d all have some info as the 2 room option seems like the best one for us for the future ,i think i`m going to email disney a week before we go and double check they have the allocation, also with tcsig look carefully as its not actually stated very clearly about the missing park pass, although the result for me of the extra day was that they have `as a goodwill gesture` added on the 5th day pass for all of us which according to my invoice is worth £135 so not too bad for complaining although this was after they took £550 off my debit card without even informing me .....buts thats another story in itself ,next time it`ll be disney direct unless tesco come up with somewhere for me to use my vouchers !

we are staying at the cheyanne with interconnecting rooms, i booked it through phone and fly, they have given me the best deal the last 3 times i booked, even disney direct wouldnt do it cheaper! Thye have booked the rooms for us and then i phone disney to double check and likewise i will phone and check again the week before we go. Never walk away from that reception desl unless yoiu are happy with what they have given you. We had a bad experience at the Sequia Lodge and when i complained i was told that as i had accepted the room that was offered to me on check in they wasnt really a problem, never mind the fact that when we got into the room the window was all boarded up!!! when i went back to ask to be moved rooms i was told no as i had accepted this room on check in!!! very unhelpful :confused3 :sad2:
