Interacting with the characters as grown-ups?

I love interacting with Jasmine :)

Seriously - I've never met a character who didn't take the lead. Just have fun and play along. And I agree - the stepsisters and step mother are the best characters in all of Disney - ran into them for the first time during our last trip in 2009 and they were such a blast we got bogged down just after rope drop taking pictures with them (and it takes a lot to get me off the early morning ride plan)

I saw Belle in France at Epcot during one trip. She is my favorite Disney character and the actress did a great job! She asked me if the guy I was with was my prince or a beast and I replied he was mostly a prince and she laughed. Before leaving after the picture was taken together, she warned me that Gaston was around and to be careful. Greatest conversation, EVER! :) I felt like I was talking to the real Belle!

I've had both Naveen and Flynn Rider flirt shamelessly with me while their respective princesses looked on all annoyed XD Flynn even gave me and my friend a smoulder! The characters love when people come by that they can have a conversation with, and it makes it twice as much fun! :goodvibes

I had Belle cracking up at CRT. After she took pictures with my son I told her I had a problem. I said I need to know how to turn my beast into a prince and pointed to my husband. She asked me if I had an enchanted rose and when I said no, she said "oh dear, you need to get yourself one."

I said, "I don't know if it'll work. See, I have the opposite problem than you had. Yours was a beast when you met him and he turned into a prince. Mine was a prince when I met him but after I married him he turned into a beast." Belle stood there for a second half holding back a laugh and half probably thinking of what to say. Finally she put her hand on my arm and cracked up. That's when I knew she probably hadn't heard that before, because it was so genuine and she was so caught off guard. So I am trying to think of things to say to other characters that are appropriate for their story, but might give them a chuckle too.

Lovin this thread! I went in '08 with just dh & another couple. Well when I ran into Stitch by just sheer luck, no one was around yet, I was so excited. He put his arms out for a hug and it made my whole flippin week! LOL I felt half embarassed since we were a group of adults but I half didn't care either.

On the same trip, dh encountered two girl mice from Cinderella, and he got right in the middle of the two, pretending to flirt and posed for pics & hugged them each LOL. They were a lot of fun!

Not to sound too corny, but go with what is in your heart.

My first experience with a face character was with Aurora in 2009. I actually told her that I was nervous meeting her and she really went all out with me. She taught me the proper way for a "Prince" to greet a Princess, the proper way to take the arm of a Princess, and the proper way to stand for photos with a Princess. I think she spent more time with me than the children in front and behind me. I tell Aladdin that he is my hero every time I meet him, and he always tells me that I can join him on his next adventure. I usually tell Tinker Bell that she inspired me to be a tinker (Engineer), and she just eats that up.

When I go to any other face character, I always go with what is in my heart at that moment. That usually gives them enough to start with. My only exception is when I meet Cinderella. I always blank out and go speechless when I meet her. That is the 5 year old boy, who absolutely loves Cinderella, in me taking hold. :)

Regardless of what you say, the face character will make it a fantastic experience.

I love this!!!
