Does anyone know if there will be any villains around the parks when I go at the end of August? I'm just asking because I would like to meet some of them as well.

I had a look for any villain's on there and there doesn't seem to be any there which is a shame.

I have heard they appear at the Animation of Disney Magic at HS but thats not till late afternoon (around 5 I think) and I'm not sure if I'll still be there around that time because where I'm staying, the minibuses have a certain dropoff and pickup time. Though my last stay was 4 years ago, they might have changed those times so we probably might be able to stay at the parks a bit longer if that were true.

I came up with a hilarious idea a few days ago. I noticed there are some hats in the shape of Donald Duck's legs and bottom so I dared my brother to buy one and wear it when meeting Donal Duck on our holiday in September and see what happens

Yeah. I never got to meet any last time so I'm hoping of meeting some this year.

In DLP I stuck my tongue out at one of the villains it then resulted in him chasing me demanding I kissed his feet. Can't remember who it was but it was one from Robin Hood. I eventually did kiss his foot but promptly stuck my tongue out again and he took the huff.

Tweedledee and Tweedledum grabbed D's buggy of me and took off with him. Their host had to wrestle the buggy off them. Chip and Dale got down on the floor and played with ds too as he was crawling round and then danced with dd.

We've always had some great responses from the charcters.

One that sticks out, way at Chef Mickey. My niece, Josie, was wearing a Goofy hat.

He made a bit of fuss, then took her by the hand, and led her around every table in the restaurant. And had every single person applaud her choice of hat.

This was 6 years ago and she still talks about that meal. And is definitely taking her hat again this time.

Its also good fun, with Chip and Dale. I try to make a point of telling one of Chip that he is my favorite but getting his name wrong. Eg - to Chip, "O Dale, you've always been my favorites, your much better looking than Chip"

Tends to get a good response.

Most of all - forget your age for a bit and have fun playing with the best charcters in the world in the happiest place on earth.

villains are out for MNSSHP. But your rarely see them outside of these parties, or special events (pirates and pals cruise, and things like that)
Come to think of that, I think I only really saw Jaffar on our last trip. (and maybe the queen of hearts, but I might be mixing things up with DLRP)


I'm quite poor at character interaction. I don't know why. I enjoy taking pictures with them, but ... I don't know ...

I found that character meals worked better, and that characters interacted more easily.
One of the best times must have been at Ohana's where Stitch played a trick on DS like he was going to eat him, and next Pluto came and licked DS's face.
Lilo was kind of debating about fashion with DW who had bought a dress very similar to Lilo's

In DHS, we met Sorcerer Mickey, we had just bought DS a mickey watch, and DS made a big point into showing Mickey what a nice watch he had. Mickey played along and got the photopass photographer and the escort CM to witness the "wonder" around DS's wrist.
