These dancers will be attending a conference in July which coincides with our stay at CSR. I was wondering if anyone has ever been at the resort while these folks have been there, and if so how was it.
I cant imagine that they could be any trouble, but ive read horror stories about pop warner week and was just wondering if there are any similiar concerns with this group:confused3

don't think so - ballet isn't something that you can easily practice outside - and certainly doesn't require screaming at the top of your noice.

:thumbsup2 I'm thinking that these are very serious dancers, I just hope they dont have to blow off too much steam
:furious:

I'm a Company Pianist for one of the big major ballet companies in the the U.S. I've worked with ballet dancers for the past 25 years and for the most part they're all very polite, very driven, and very focused. Their days start later than most people so you'll be able to beat them to the parks unless they really want to get there. They work in studios so they won't be very noisy unless they're letting off steam (and believe me, dancers have a lot of steam to let off). They're young, which means they can be idealistic and sometimes stupid but I've really enjoyed 99% of all of the dancers I've been around and that's probably hundreds of dancers by now. They and you should be able to co-exist without any problems at WDW. Have a great time!

If they behave like the kids at my son's ballet school (which is a very serious school), you will have nothing to worry about. They just mostly act like average high school kids at lunch time.....chatting and laughing. Ballet requires you to keep your mouth shut, so there will be no singing/chanting in unison. They tend not to dance outside the studio as it can cause injury, so I doubt you will be kicked in the head by someone doing a jete. :yay:

The poster above is right. Dancers tend to work late hours, usually 6 days a week, so they tend to be later sleepers. Sleep is very important. If my son has no class on a particular day, it is nothing for him to sleep past noon. We never make it to the parks until after 1pm because of him. You will be able to spot the dancers. They have beautiful postures.
