Insurance for the elderly

Has anyone got any suggestions please. My 82 year old Father is trying to get insurance to go to the USA and is finding it impossible. He has had a few health problems and realises it won't be cheap BUT no one is even giving him a quote. He flew to China on holiday this year and Canada last year with no problems or claims. The firms he used for those holidays won't even quote now.

I got travel insurance for my 77 year old mum travelling to North Carolina USA with Explorer Travel Insurance & she has some medical problems. Cost about £278 for 2 weeks. Hope this helps.

My Mum used Good to Go a few years ago, she was late 70's and had health problems - not sure if they still offer cover but worth a try
