I know that DCL will give us a fridge for my dh's insulin storage (his unopened medication should be kept cold per instructions on box), but would prefer not to take up precious room with an extra fridge. Normally I wouldn't care but since we are doing a few parks days and stroller rentals have gone up in price, we are now bringing our own rather than renting.
My question is, will ice keep the cooler cold enough? If so , what's the best way to keep the ice in the cooler? Should I pack a small collapsable one strictly for insulin and ice?
The last Disney cruise, the room steward lept telling us he couldn't get ice for us when we requested it as it was locked up.
I realize from reading here that he was just a little weird.
Is there ice available at the drink stations if necessary?
