For those T1-diabetics who wear an insulin pump, how have you managed wearing your pump on the big roller coasters that have you store everything in a locker and then enter through a metal detector partway through the queue? I can't imagine disconnecting if the line is long but worry as my MD has told me not to go through any kind of screening device and always ask for manual screening to protect the pump and CGM. Are you allowed to even wear the pump on the ride (e.g. if secured in a SPIbelt)? It'll be my first time doing IoA/USO since getting a pump 4yrs ago (always did pens). Thanks for any answers/advice!

You can go through a metal detector. You can be wanded.. You should not go through body scanners, milliwave back scatter scanners. Sbould probably opt out of Evol scanners at Disney.

Will your CGM or infusion placement interfere with restraints?

Edited to add Not an issue wearing either but make sure you bring an extra sensor and infusion set. You can leave them in your hotel. Just in case ride and restraint causes one to partially come off. Not likely but be prepared
