Instructions for Namefills?

A while ago (probably a year or more) I read directions on here how to do a namefill in Word to print out on magnetic paper for the door of your cruise cabin.

I remember being able to follow the directions quite easily when I tried it back then. I have done several searches and can't find any instructions on how to do one.

Can someone tell me how its done in Word or point me to a post that might help me out?

I remember you type the name, then you click on something and insert your picture?

You can do this with WordArt, which is on the Insert tab in Word. I just picked the first one (hollow letters) and typed in something. Then click inside the WordArt box and find the Format tab. There's a "Shape Fill" on that tab that has "Picture..." on it. Just find the picture you want to fill with and you're done.

I found if you are using an older version of Word then this thread works. If you are using Word 2010 then you must use Microsoft publisher 2010 instead of Word 2010. It seems they took out the editing tools out of Word and put them in Publisher. I was able to use this thread to guide me to create name fills in Publisher rather then in Word. Good Luck.
