InStep Safari AR245 jogging stroller. Opinions?

Does anyone on the boards own an InStep safari AR245 swivel wheel jogging stroller? If so, what can you tell me about it?

After looking through stroller after stroller and travel system after travel system, DH and I are thinking this is the stroller for us. We like to do a lot of outdoor things and live in a rural area, so we think the larger tires will work better than the small tires of a traditional travel system. We also don't want the bulk of a regular travel system. We don't actually jog, so IDK about performance in that regard.

The safari comes with an adaptor to hold an infant carrier if we need to, and also reclines. We like the look of this stroller and think it would work well for us (and for Disney ) but I wanted to see if anyone who has owned one could offer up any opinions either way.

It looks very similar to our Schwinn/InStep Safari.

I thought the same thing about the wheels...two punctured innertubes later...yeah, sidewalks only from then on. Good news is, REI carried the inner tubes and they weren't all that expensive!

Thanks for the input. I had thought about purchasing a small tire pump to keep with us for deflation. I guess we would have to think about inner tubes as well! Did you like your stroller other than that?

Other than the innertube situation (I didn't even know it had an innertube until it popped) I love the stroller. I think DS has finally outgrown it by weight, and we took many brisk walks in it! Never used it for disney though, I just felt it was too bulky. Then again, we only got it when he was 2 (he'll be 6 in late May), and we never had a stroller before that, so we never got used to the big bulky strollers anyway.

Ours doesn't have the infant insert, otherwise I'd ask if you lived near Tacoma and wanted a bargain on it!

By the way, if it's available, buy the rain cover. Nothing better than a properly fitting rain cover!
