Instant camera ? Which one should I get ? Any experience

This will be a gift for a 18 year old girl. Film looks to cost about $1 per photo.


I'm thinking Fuji Film instead of the Kodak instant camera. I may get one for myself too.

When you say instant camera you mean a polaroid camera. One the spits out the picture as soon as you take it. At least that is the type of a camera an instant camera is.


Or did you mean digital?

Exactly like the old Polaroids when the photo came out of the camera.

Interersting I didn't even know they made these!! When cleaning out my mom and dad's basement a few years ago we found an old Polaroid and my kids thought it was the neatest thing since sliced bread. lol

I got my 8y old daughter one for Christmas last year. Work great. I just need to get more film now.

I like this idea a lot, I think my DD12 would really enjoy this. I'm interested to see which one people prefer and why.

DD13 is asking for one of these also. So, I have been looking online and reading reviews. There are a couple different ones in the $70-$80 range. Polaroid 300P and Fuji Instamax. Both look similar. You look through a viewfinder to take the pic and the pic comes out instantly. About business card size.

There is also a more expensive one. Polaroid Z2300 - sells for around $180. This is a digital camera 10MP as well as an instant camera. So, you can see the pictures and decide the ones you want to print right away or you can print them from the SD Card. I think the film on this one also has a back that can be used a sticker. I am leaning on getting this one - even though it is more spendy I think it will be worth it more. I think the film was cheaper too. Maybe .50 a print??

Keep hoping it goes on sale - but have not seen it in any of the ads.
